Discover Things to do on Holiday in Tunisia

Tunisia, is set on the north coast of North Africa with Algeria to the west and Libya to the south east. It has a warm climate all year round, but the best time to visit is during our Spring and Autumn seasons. Popular resorts in Tunisia include Hammamet, Port El Kantaoui and Sousse.

Sousse is home to the bustling Medina where you can haggle for silver jewellery, pure wool blankets, copper and carpets all within the impressive walls of the ribat. From Sousse, there is a day trip to see the Roman Ruins at Carthage and a half day trip to experience the life of a Roman gladiator with a guided tour of El Jem coliseum.

Port El Kantaoui, with its white washed hotels, has a number of little shops in which to haggle and a pleasant Marina, ideal for an evening stroll or you take to the seas and hop on one of the many daily boat trips. The catamaran trip takes you out for a few hours with lots of sunbathing and potential for dolphin spotting, and for the keen fisherman there are also fishing trips.

For visitors and Tunisians alike Hammamet is another word for holidays where all who visit take part in the daily ritual of sun worshipping on spotless beaches, al fresco dining on the patio of a beachfront hotel , dancing the night away at the discos and then watching the sun rise over the horizon.

One hidden secret in Tunisia is its top golf courses with some excellent restaurants for after the round - just ask at your hotel reception for information of the closest one to you.
