At Preferential, we offer a choice of annual multi trip travel insurance policies that will cover you and/or your family for a whole year depending on your specific requirements.

Here's some useful information about taking out an annual multi-trip travel insurance policy with Preferential.

Age Limits

Classic Annual Multi Trip Policy - Maximum of 64 years with no pre-existing medical conditions.

Deluxe Annual Multi Trip Policy - Maximum of 75 years with no pre-existing medical conditions.

Premier Annual Multi Trip Policy - Maximum of 75 years with no pre-existing medical conditions.

Duration of Cover

All trips must start and end from the United Kingdom (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) and the policy must cover the whole duration of the trip. Under our Annual Multi Trip Policies a maximum duration for any one trip applies. You can choose the duration that is most appropriate to your needs from 31 days per trip to a maximum of 93 days per trip, and it will be shown on your policy schedule.

Excess Waiver

For Classic and Deluxe Annual Multi Trip Travel Insurance, certain sections of cover are subject to an excess applying to each claim. An excess means that you are responsible for paying the excess amount in the event of a claim (in the same way your car insurance works). If you select Excess Waiver, when purchasing your annual multi trip travel insurance, the excess will not apply. Premier Annual Multi Trip travel insurance automatically includes Excess Waiver.

Documentation by email

Once you’ve purchased your insurance, we will email you your documentation, which will include your policy number, so make sure you enter your email address carefully when it is requested during the purchase process.

Over 75 or have a pre-existing medical condition?

If you are over the age of 75, or have a pre-existing medical condition, whilst a policy from Preferential is not available online, please call us as we may be able to cover you.
